Pilbara Resources Tour
A must do while you are in the Pilbara is our fantastic Rio Tinto Pilbara Resources Tour. Jump on board ‘The Pilbara Wanderer’ to get a behind the scenes look at the iron ore ship loading operations in Dampier. Departing at 8.45am weekday morning from the Karratha Visitor Centre, the tour includes the Dampier Salt Lookout, Parker Point and East Intercourse Island. Morning tea is provided, as well as a photo opportunity with Red Dog’s memorial statue.

Pilbara Resources Tour
The tour returns to the Karratha Visitor Centre by approximately 12.15pm.
Closed in shoes, a long sleeved collared shirt and long pants are a must for all participating in the tour. Bookings are essential.
Please note: children must be a minimum of 7 years of age to be able to participate in the tour.
